Do I need a visa to go to Vietnam from Bhutan?
Bhutan is not on the Vietnam visa exemption list, so residents must receive a visa if they want to travel to this peaceful country. However, you don't need to worry, there are 2 easy ways to get a Vietnam visa.

1. Apply for Vietnam visa on arrival at visa-vietnam.org.vn
Vietnam visa on arrival (VOA) is a visa service on arrival, we will make a letter of approval from the Vietnam Immigration Department allowing you to board and enter Vietnam and you will get a Vietnam visa upon entering at the Vietnam international airport (NoiBai international airport in Hanoi Capital, Tan Son Nhat international airport in Ho Chi Minh City and DaNang international airport in Danang City)
The way to apply for a Vietnam visa is very simple, you only need to complete the following 4 steps:
- Step 1: Access the internet and complete the form at https://www.visa-vietnam.org.vn/apply-visa.html
- Step 2: Choose one of the payment gateways PayPal, OnePay, Gate2Shop, Western Union or Banking Transfer and pay service fees
- Step 3: Receive the approval letter by email and follow the instructions of our staff
- Step 4: Arrive in Vietnam international airport and receive your visa
Normal: for those who would like to get Vietnam visa within 24-48 working hours.
Urgent: for those who would like to get Vietnam visa within 4-8 working hours.
Emergency: for those who would like to get Vietnam visa within 30 minutes or need it the right way for flight.
