II. Methods to getting Vietnam visa for Indian citizens

Indian applied for visa in two ways at the end 2018:

• Apply for a visa at a diplomatic mission that is Embassy in New Delhi and Consulate in Mumbai.
• Apply for a Vietnam visa approval letter from the Vietnamese Immigration Department through an agency in Vietnam.

1. Procedures of applying Vietnam visa at Embassy and Vietnam visa fee for Indians

Vietnam tourist visa:

- Original passport (valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Vietnam and at least 2 blank pages)

- Visa application form. Download

- 1 picture 4x6 cm.

- A copy of the first and last passport.

- Return air ticket or a third country.

- Statement of account at least 3 months. Acceptable balance: VND 50,000,000.

- Visa fee: Once per month: 3800 INR

Vietnam business visa:

- Original passport (valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Vietnam and at least 2 blank pages)

- Visa application form. Download

- 1 picture 4x6 cm.

- A copy of the first and last passport.

- Return air ticket or a third country.

- Statement of account at least 3 months. Acceptable balance: VND 50,000,000.

- Letters of acceptance from the Vietnam immigration office.

Note: Dossiers may have to be added if requested by the diplomatic mission.

Vietnam visa fee at Embassy: 

+ Once per month: 2800 INR.

+ 1 month multiple times: INR 5000.

+ 3 months multiple: 5400 INR.

+ 6 months multiple: 9000 INR.

+ 1 year multiple times: 13000 INR.

+ 2 years multiple: 13900 INR.

+ 5 years multiple times: 14900 INR.

2. Vietnam application form online (visa approval letter) and Vietnam visa fee when applying visa at visa-vietnam.org.vn

Duration and purpose:
- Tourist Visa: 1 month or 3 months
- Business Visa: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year
