Do citizens of Comoros need Vietnam visa when travelling?

Only the citizens of the nationalities which are in the Vietnam visa exemption list can travel without the required document. Is Comoros listed in the list?

Citizens of Comoros need to apply for Vietnam visa?

Until now, Citizens of Comoros are not approved to travel to the country without visa of Vietnam.

They are obliged to apply for and obtain valid documents in order to enter the country legally. There are two ways for them to acheive the result:

1/ Applying for Vietnam visa at Vietnamese Embassy in their living country:

The visa issued by Vietnamese Embassy includes the visa stamp marked on the passport. The applicants need to show their passport at the arrival airport to complete the entrance procedure. More than that, they can travel by any transport.

However, they need to submit more documents once applying for tourist visa such as:

Application form (in provided format) with an attached photo;
Passport or passport substitute;
Visa approval document issued by the Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security) or the Consular Department, the Department of External Relations of the Ho Chi Minh city (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

2/ Applying for Vietnam visa on arrival on website
