Vietnam visa on arrival for citizens of Swaziland
There is no Vietnamese Embassy in Swaziland until now so regarding of applying for visa of Vietnam, Vietnam visa on arrival is the best choice for Swazi.
Why must Swazi need Vietnam visa?
According to Law No. 47/2014/QH13 on 16 June 2014 on entry, exit, transit, and residence status of foreigners in Viet Nam:
- Foreigners who enter and exit Vietnam must have their passport or passport substitutes (hereinafter referred to as passports) and visas issued by competent authorities of Viet Nam, except in case of Vietnam visa exemption. The passport substitutes must be introduced to and accepted by Vietnamese competent authorities through diplomatic channel.
- Vietnamese nationals who reside overseas holding travel documents issued by foreign competent authorities as valid documents to enter into, exit from the host country, the sample of which has been introduced officially to and accepted by Vietnamese competent authorities through diplomatic channels, are allowed to enter Viet Nam with these documents.
In conclusion, as being out of the visa exemption list, Swazi are obliged to apply and obtain a valid visa – a travel document permitting entrance into Vietnam.
How to apply for Vietnam visa on arrival
Since there is no Vietnamese Embassy in Swaziland, Swazi are higly advised to apply for Vietnam visa on arrival to acheive the result quickly, simply and legally before they arrive at the destination airport.
To get the result of visa upon arrival in advance, please apply for at least 2 days before travelling. For some out of control cases, you can choose rush Vietnam visa which includes urgent procedure (4-8 working hours) and emergency procedure (30 working minutes).
There are four steps to be completed:
Step 1: Fill in the online application form;
Step 2: Settle the payment;
Step 3: Receive visa approval letter;
Step 4: Get visa stamp at the arrival
